It is most attractive to make these sofas with patterned or colored papers. A square is used to make a single sofa, and a rectangle of any length, with the same width (A-B) as the square, is used for a large sofa.

Fold the paper on the dotted line, bringing line B-B to line A-A.

Crease and fold on dotted line, bringing line B-B to line C-C. Turn over, placing C-C at top.
