This candy basket can be made very attractive with colored papers to fit into any party scheme. A name can be written on each of these baskets as they are being folded so that they can also serve as place cards.

Use an 8" square of paper and follow the directions for Figs. 102, 103 and 104 to get illustration Fig. 153. Fold all layers together on the dotted lines. Crease and unfold.
Bring point E (top layer only) to the left on F. Add name, centering it by using creased guide lines. Return point E to its former position (as in Fig. 153).

Fold (top sheet only) on the dotted line. Bring lines X-F and X-F (top layer only) to center line. Fold on the dotted lines.
Fold downward on the dotted line, then turn Fig. 158 to other side and repeat directions for Figs. 156, 157 and 158. To open, hold both sides at flap Y, and pull apart.

Fold on the dotted line, pushing triangle A B C to the inside. Repeat the above directions on the other side.
Finished candy and place card basket.
