Another hat to add to the variety for parties, x Bring point A to point X and crease on the dotted line. Turn to other side and repeat. Fold on the dotted line, bringing point C to point D. Turn to the other side and repeat.
Fold upper layer on the dotted line. The top o£ the dotted line is halfway between C-X; the bottom is one third of the distance between C-Y. Fold on the dotted line. Note that corners C and D overlap each other.

Fold on the dotted line upward. Crease. Fold on the dotted line, tucking flap Y behind points C and D. (Figs. 148 and 149.) Turn to the other side and repeat directions for Figs. 147, 148, 149 and 150.
Open hat at the bottom. (Be careful not to undo any foldings.) Finished winged hat.
